1. This promotional competition (Competition) is run by Little Green Beverages (Pty) Ltd trading as The Beverage Company (Pty) Ltd (the Promoter).
  2. The Competition commences from the 1st October 2020 until midnight on the 31st December 2020 (Competition Period). Entries received by the Promoter outside of this Competition Period will not be accepted.
  3. The Competition is open to legal permanent residents and citizens of the Republic of South Africa of 18 years and older (who are in possession of a valid South African identity document) (“Participants”) except any person who is an employee, shareholder, director, member, partner, agent or consultant to the Promoter or any person who directly or indirectly controls, or is controlled by, the Promoters and/or any marketing service providers or suppliers of goods or services in respect of the competition, and/or their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members (“Disqualified Persons”).
  4. By entering the Competition, all entrants (“Participants”) agree to be bound by these competition rules, T’s and C’s for the duration of the Competition.
  5. To enter this Competition, Participants must:
    1. Purchase a Promotional Can, find the unique code under the pull ring of the can, dial *120*20061# and follow the prompts.
    2. Entries billed at R0.40c per 20 seconds.
    3. Participants may enter this Competition as many times as they like, however, each unique code may only be used once.
    4. Virtual Private networks (VPNs) are excluded from entries in the competition.
  6. Prize:
    1. With each entry, the Participant stands a chance to win:
      A share of R150 000 in instant prizes (data & airtime) as well as the R 5000 weekly prize. To qualify to win the mobile data, the mobile number by which the winner entered the Competition must be on a pay-as-you-go or pre-paid subscription. Should a mobile data prize be awarded to a mobile number that is unable to utilize the prize (i.e. the mobile number is not on a prepaid subscription), the prize will be withdrawn and re-entered into the prize pool for distribution to other Participants.
    2. The Grand Prize of 3 x Polo Vivos. 1 car to be won per month for 3 months.
  7. There will be 3 Grand Prize Car Winners chosen 1 per month:
    1. Winners are chosen randomly using an online generator. If Participants have won a competition with Reboost in the last 6 months, they will not be eligible in this competition. Apex Visibility PTY LTD has been appointed as the auditors for this Competition and reserves the right to carry out audits in respect of any winner to verify his eligibility. Apex Visibility PTY LTD reserves the right to appoint external auditors in its sole discretion and for any reason it deems necessary.
    2. Winners will be contacted directly and announced on the Reboost social media channels at the beginning of each month and have 3 days to respond. If no response received then that name will be redrawn. All prizes are strictly not transferable or exchangeable and may not be redeemed for cash.
    3. The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damages, claims, costs or expenses suffered by the winners of the POLO VIVO TRENDLINE (including personal injury and death) except to the extent that same is as a direct result of any grossly negligent or intentional and unlawful act or omission of the Promoter or any person for whom the Promoter is vicariously liable.
    4. The insurance of the vehicle is for the winner’s own account from the date of delivery.
  8. The Promoter may make media announcements/publications of the winner’s name/photographs of the winner, provided that the winner has not expressly elected to decline this. The winner or Participants that take part in any publicity will not be entitled to any payment or other remuneration for such publicity or otherwise. All publicity and other materials will be the sole property of the Promoter.
  9. By entering this Competition the participant gives the Promoter permission to contact him via SMS for promotional or informational purposes related to the Promoter and/or Competition. The participant may opt-out of this contact list by replying STOP to any SMS they have received from the Promoter, except for prize notification messages.
  10. All Participants and winners, to the maximum extent permitted by law, indemnify the Promoter, its associated companies (directors, officers, and employees), affiliates, and agents, against any/all claims for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, harm, injury of any nature whatsoever arising from any cause whatsoever from their participation in any way howsoever in this Competition.
  11. All entrants and participants are advised that in compliance with the laws of the country, the Promoter is required to retain certain information (where applicable) of participants, entrants, and winners for a period of time (“Personal Information”). Such Personal Information to be retained by the Promoter includes (but is not limited to) the full names, identity numbers, contact details, and winner’s acknowledgment of prize receipts. Accordingly, the Promoter will require the winners to provide written confirmation of permission to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with these rules, as well as with the Protection of Personal Information Act (“POPI”) and South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“Consumer Act”). Should any entrant, participant and/or winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such entrant, participant, and/or winner will be deemed to have rejected the Prize(s) and it shall revert back to the Promoter.
  12. Any Participant who transgresses any of these terms and conditions or disparages the promotion or promotional brand/s in any way or who acts in any way contrary to the spirit of this Competition, may be banned from entry into this, or into any other of the Promoter’s promotional competitions. The Promoter reserves the right (subject to applicable law) to disqualify or ban any individual who tampers with or attempts to subvert or interfere with the Competition or entry process or prize retrieval process.
  13. The Promoter is not liable for any defect in the Prizes. All ancillary costs, including but not limited to transport, meals, personal and incidental expenses, insurance, government taxes, or other fees applicable, are the responsibility of the winner/s, and/or entrants.
  14. If the Promoter is required by law to alter or cancel any aspect of the Competition or to terminate it as a result of changes in legislation, or for any reason whatsoever, it will have the right to terminate the Competition being offered, with immediate effect and without prior notice and no entrant shall have any recourse for such cancellation or alteration. Any changes will be posted either within the Competition information or these terms and conditions shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by the Promoter. In such an event, all Participants hereby waive any rights which they may have against the Promoter and its associated companies, agents, contractors, and/or sponsors.
  15. The Promoters decision is final and no further correspondence concerning the Competition or prizes will be entered into.
  16. All information relating to the Competition and published Competition material will form part of these Terms and Conditions.
  17. The law of South Africa governs these terms and conditions and Participants are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
